Introduction

We work at the intersection of those who create content and those who consume it — in multiple formats and across multiple devices. Is your content meeting your expectations? Your readers? We offer a wide range of services for publishers, content providers, vendors, scholarly societies, universities, libraries and museums, and those who support them.

“Our goal is to achieve a win-win for you and your customers.” Judy Luther, Informed Strategies LLC

About Founder Judy Luther

Judy Luther created Informed Strategies to offer a customer-oriented perspective in the design and development of digital products and services. Expertise in business models, market analyses, product launches, planning processes, environmental scans, and voice of the customer programs are informed by trends as they apply to each client.

Judy knows the market from the inside out, having worked in higher education as a librarian, then library director, and in institutional sales and then directing sales to universities and corporations for the citation indexes (owned by Clarivate).

Professionally active in the scholarly publishing community, she is frequently found in meetings that focus on industry initiatives and emerging topics. She co-led the NISO Working Group that created SERU (Shared Electronic Resources Understanding) and initiated the Juried Product Development Forums for the Charleston Conference. She currently serves on the NISO Seamless Access Committee.

A Past President for the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), Judy has served as Co-Editor for Learned Publishing, and as a chef in the Scholarly Kitchen.
