Judy Luther
As President of Informed Strategies, Judy Luther has over 35 years' experience as a manager and a provider of information services. She founded the consultancy to support the development and delivery of customer oriented electronic products and services. Judy's insights and analyses enable publishers and information vendors to uncover opportunities and new ways to expand their business.

Judy offers clients a perspective built on an understanding of the marketplace, technology issues, and the needs of the institutional customer. Prior to Informed Strategies, Judy was Director of North American Sales for the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), a Thomson Company where she managed the field sales force and created a key accounts program that increased market penetration.

In her 10 years with the Faxon Company, Judy led in the sales of systems to academic libraries, sold global services to corporate libraries, and participated in product development. Her library experience includes working as the Library Director at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and as Government Documents Librarian at Stetson University where she instituted marketing through liaison programs at both institutions.

With both an Executive MBA from Emory University and an MLS from Florida State University, Judy is widely published and her articles have been featured in Library Journal. She's a frequent industry speaker and has served in the American Library Association (ALA), Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), Special Libraries Association (SLA), the Charleston Conference, the North American Serials Interest Group (NASIG), and the Information Futures Institute (IFI).
